We have returned from an amazing weekend in Disneyland Paris still recovering but longing to go back. We made it to the finals on the Sunday after one of the best performances we've given (walking of nearly being sick) though did not get placed in the top 6. We are not overly gutted as the level of competition was sublime and some crews were just amazing. We are waiting on an e-mail telling us our place which will be somewhere between 7th and 19th out of the 32 crews in our category. It was a great learning curve for us and as this was only our second competition we felt it went really well and we hope to have some more experience under our belts soon. The whole experience was truly unique and I don't think anyone wanted to return so soon.
On the other hand we have many more events and fund raisers coming up in preparation for the World championships in August. Many have just seen us on Britain's Got Talent and we hope for the whole performance to be shown next week. We have also gained much media coverage including the Daily Mirror and The Sun as well as The Chronicle and Echo shown below;

Stripes for Summer
Its getting closer that time of year for stripes. The look can be pulled off really well but I am still unsure.
Recently reading through an issue of Vogue I came across a page dedicated to stripes this summer and am torn whether I like them.
I guess worn with chinos in the right way they can look good, but might not be the best choice due to the sheer numbers of people wearing them however, one rule remains NO espadrilles.

Colour Block-Suits
Right so bit late with the post but I really am feeling the new colour blocking trend for summer/spring.
Out of everything I've seen (menswear) I've really been taken by these suits. First seen last summer in Topman when shopping for office dress for school I thought 'I'd love to get one of them'. The jacket/short combination however would have been an extreme start to the year and wouldn't have gone down well.
Back this season a bit more popular...I'd still want to rock one at school but somehow don't think it'll be acceptable. However, I like the twist Tinie Tempah has put on the look, adding the fresh trainers to the more smart look as seen in FHM and Sunday Times Style magazine.
The best blazers I have come across have been by Dsquared2 as well as the trousers. Prada also have some great shorts out which would fit perfectly, and as always accompanied by Blazers and Wayfarers.
However the prices of these suits make me need to find an alternative as I somehow do not have £750 to spend on a casual blazer..or any blazer for that matter.

One of my favourites, would have been accompanied by some Nike Blazers. Just how I would wear it! |

Royal Evisu
Right so even Evisu is getting on the Royal Wedding with these hand painted jeans.
I don't really like this pair but just thought it was quite remarkable having these custom jeans for this wedding.
Available from the 22nd of this month, I wouldn't say no to one of these just because the exclusivity. I can only imagine the price...and the amount of fakes to follow.

Chivalrous Culture
Diggy Simmon's new brand is definatly coming along, with the already popular with the Hamachi kicks available in a range of colours. My favourite being:
Furthermore following this early success today was the launch of their new valentines day special t-shirt and line Ms. Chiv complimenting the already out of stock Mr Chiv tees. Although the first two ideas and designs seem very plain, I enjoy the twist on the logo and have a feeling they'll be coming out with some crazy ish. Watch this space...
Shout out to Diggy and the designers.
Check them out:

Oooooh Snakeskin
The Forum mid
These retro mids have gone through many transformations from NBA teams to the Star Wars collection. We now see them laced with a snakeskin tongue and trim. The classic suede remains with the strap but now with added luxury.
The retro Nizza Hi are back!
First introduced in the 70's and the recent comeback has killed all that came before. It is mainly composed of the faux snakeskin with the white rubber toe guard and sole contrasting well with the sleek red colour shown. This very stylish new take on the classic has been well thought out keeping simplicity but gaining maximum effect. Finishing touches include the classic white 3 stripes, trefoil logo and suede tab on the back just to remind us of the speciality.
To top it all off we have the Samba, seen many a time before we see it with a darker snakeskin finish. Yellow has always complimented the samba's style of being a very vibrant and original option. We see it with white 3 stripes and of course "samba" written on the side. A lower option in the new snakeskin range.
