Chivalrous Culture

Diggy Simmon's new brand is definatly coming along, with the already popular with the Hamachi kicks available in a range of colours. My favourite being:
Furthermore following this early success today was the launch of their new valentines day special t-shirt and line Ms. Chiv complimenting the already out of stock Mr Chiv tees. Although the first two ideas and designs seem very plain, I enjoy the twist on the logo and have a feeling they'll be coming out with some crazy ish. Watch this space...
Shout out to Diggy and the designers.

Oooooh Snakeskin

The Forum mid
These retro mids have gone through many transformations from NBA teams to the Star Wars collection. We now see them laced with a snakeskin tongue and trim. The classic suede remains with the strap but now with added luxury.

My Favourite of the three
The retro Nizza Hi are back!
First introduced in the 70's and the recent comeback has killed all that came before. It is mainly composed of the faux snakeskin with the white rubber toe guard and sole contrasting well with the sleek red colour shown. This very stylish new take on the classic has been well thought out keeping simplicity but gaining maximum effect. Finishing touches include the classic white 3 stripes, trefoil logo and suede tab on the back just to remind us of the speciality.

To top it all off we have the Samba, seen many a time before we see it with a darker snakeskin finish. Yellow has always complimented the samba's style of being a very vibrant and original option. We see it with white 3 stripes and of course "samba" written on the side. A lower option in the new snakeskin range.

Something different. Adidas x Ransom collection SS1

Adidas have teamed up with Canadian designers Ransom to create these unusual styles;

'didas boots, who would of thought!
The Messa mixes both leather with cordura providing a breathable option for spring.

These are a completely different take from all Adidas shoes seen before. Although different this new collaboration really works well I think and provides a much more chic twist on most generic footwear found today. The bluff mid gives the best of both worlds with a similar structure to famous Adidas trainers before whilst introducing a new look to its market. It keeps it real by maintaining the classic Adidas logo on the sole and the tongue.

Originals by Originals: David Beckham and Designer James Bond

I really like the British chic look crossed with American sportswear. Its really simple but still there's a few bits I like:

Inspired by the great escape. Also made from
wool as oppose to tricot or fleece,  still keeps
the 3 stripes running down the side- staying true.

That jacket.
Also check the L.A along the left leg due to both
designers call L.A home these days

Classic 80's basketball mids. The colours are simple but work
well with the design. Made from soft leather which compliment
the mesh accents.

Simple. Mids. Gold trefoil logo. Pure vintage.

Adidas new twist

Adidas are hitting 2011 hard and fast!

Originals x Star Wars
Spring/Summer 2011

They've added to the Star Wars collection introducing more crazy kicks along with matching tees and even an ever popular Varsity style jacket. Here's my pick of the bunch;
Darth's "boys in white" first hit the screen in '77.
The classic jacket with an added hood mixes the trooper logo
with the popular Adidas basketball logo from the same era.

Very artistic pop art camouflage of one of
the "boys in white" really feeling this one.
Simple but effective.

And of course the matching kicks. I love the simplicity shown
on these and throughout the collection yet its not boring.
